King Jesus is King of Kings: The Sovereign One, The Timeless Royal
King Jesus wasn’t born like a King,
He left His heavenly throne of endless glory and came to a cradle
in the dirt
Not born like a King but He was the King,
King Jesus didn’t act like a King when He walked among us,
but He acted like the King should.
King Jesus was A King Like No Other, He is the eternal King
He was, He is, He will be,- THE King of Kings
And the King is coming again! King Jesus is coming back and this time it will be different -King Jesus will exceed our expectations and stun our imagination when the majestic, eternal Royal of Heaven comes for us, His church.
🡪 may I interject at this point that by the authority of Scripture I tell you plainly that Jesus is the King of all Kings, the ruler of heaven and earth and as such is your King eternal. You, along with all other people from all of time, will bow the knee to THE KING in Heaven. The King is coming for His bride, the Church, for all Christians and it is best and blessed to call Him King now and bow your heart to Him today. If you do not believe in Jesus as your Saviour and King, He will leave you behind on earth to endure the great tribulation, the great judgement upon this earth. So do not delay, do not procrastinate, do not hesitate but come, come quickly, believe and take Jesus as your Saviour and King today.
I say quickly because the King is coming, and His coming is imminent, meaning that at any moment He could return for His church, for Christians. This we call the Rapture when Christ comes for His Church. And then we will be gone, we will then be with our Savior and King forever.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 According to the Lord’s (Jesus) word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.
1 Corinthians 15:46 (thinkof imminent) in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
So quickly come to believe in Christ and His imminent return, do not hesitate because Jesus, the King, said this about what is coming soon:
Matthew 24:
That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
-don’t be the one left behind, let us, together, all see Jesus and go with Him.
In addition to King Jesus returning for His Church and taking all believers with Him, we call this the rapture, King Jesus returns later after the tribulation period to defeat Satan and conquer all His enemies - this we call the 2nd coming. When Jesus comes for His church, His feet will not touch the earth, but we will meet Him in the air. When He returns to fight in His 2nd coming to earth (the first was to the Bethlehem manger) He steps down upon the Mount of Olives.
Zechariah 14:4
4 On that day his feet (King Jesus) will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
And when He comes, He is glorious, regal, powerful and to be feared, He executes judgement and justice upon this rebellious world.
He is coming back in the rapture for His Church, but after the rapture He comes in His 2nd coming as the Warrior King to earth and everyone will see Him, they will recognize Jesus, yes, King Jesus. He will end the rebellion and destroy all the enemies of Israel who come against her in the battle of Armageddon. King Jesus wins and we, His Church, His Holy ones, will witness this victory. We watch THE King who wins this battle.
-it will leave us breathless; we will be truly amazed at our King.
I would like to share with you this Pastor’s perspective on what is going on right now in the world and of future events to come. I realize there are different views on future events but there many common beliefs as well. I don’t profess to understand everything but what I do know is that the King is coming.
-Jesus is coming for His Church, this is imminent and could be today.
There are no signs for this rapture of the church, but we may experience ‘birth-pains” or ‘warning tremors’ of the impending tribulation to come after the rapture.
-after the Church leaves in the rapture the world experiences great tribulation which gets progressively worse.
It is here where we find Paul speaking of the signs of the end times in 2 Timothy 3:
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure
-we may feel these ‘birth-pains’ starting prior to the rapture.
In the tribulation God is pouring out righteous judgements which you read about in Revelation 6-16, the 7 seals, the 7 plagues and the 7 bowls.
-this tribulation period culminates in the King’s 2nd return and the battle of Armageddon.
The nations gather together to destroy Israel and King Jesus steps in and says NO!
-even today we see ‘birth-pains’ of the nations gathering against Israel, as illustrated before our very eyes, with Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran, Yemin, groups in Syria and on the West Bank. We also witness today the unfriendliness towards Israel of Egypt, Iraq and Turkiye. It is percolating, it is a prelude to the final battle as foretold/prophesied.
-some 2615 years ago, in 590 BC, Ezekial wrote of this great gathering of nations against Israel in the battle of Armageddon.
Let me read to you portions of Ezekial 38 concerning this with the understanding that our great King knows what is about to happen and how it will end. He is King Eternal, omniscient and omnipotent.
1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man (Ezekial), set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog (modern day Russia), the chief prince of Meshek (modern day East Germany) and Tubal (modern day Poland); prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia (modern day Iran), Cush (modern day Sudan) and Put (modern day Libya) will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah (modern day Turkiye) from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.
… 13 from Sheba (modern day Yemin) and Dedan (modern day Saudia Arabia) and the merchants of Tarshish (modern day Spain) and all her villages will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? …
14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? 15 You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
22 I (Yahweh) will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’
-from 590 BC to 90 AD, we read in Revelation 16: Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
-then King Jesus returns, this is the 2nd coming, this is the final battle, and Jesus wins as we watch. Jesus rules.
King Jesus now Rules in Power
The resurrected Christ is not a symbolic King—He is the ruling and reigning Lord of all. The kingship of Jesus is not passive. He actively rules.
What holds Jesus from coming right now? We waits patiently, He waits for all His children to come and believe. Is He waiting for you?
Revelation 19:16“On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
No one stands above Him, and all will bow before Him, He rules even now with ultimate power
Jesus is King over creation
Colossians 1:16–17For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Jesus is King over the church
Colossians 1:18 -Christ is the head of the body, the church; … so that in everything he might have the supremacy (the Kingship)
Jesus is King over the nations
Revelation 1:5Jesus Christ, who is the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,
He is King of all Kings, He is the potentate of all, Monarch to all and the grandest Royal in Heaven.
King Jesus Will Return
The first time Jesus came, He was robed in swaddling clothes. The next time, He will come robed in majesty.
Revelation 19:11–13:“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True... His eyes are like blazing fire... He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.” It’s King Jesus.
Jesus is coming not as a baby, but as the King. And He will:
Judge the nations.Establish perfect justice.
Defeat every enemy.Reign forever.
All earthly powers will crumble before His glory. Every tongue will confess, and every knee will bow.
Dear follower of Jesus -Have Hope yourself and Give Hope to others. In a broken, crumbling world bent on war, Jesus reigns, He knows and will ultimately make everything right. Have peace knowing your King is on the His throne, He is coming for you and He will make all things new.
Is Jesus your King? Make Him today, you choose, please choose Jesus.
Is Jesus King of all? All of you, dear Christian. Make Him today, Lord of all, King of all.
Before you take your next step, before you take your next breath say yes to Jesus and reach out and touch the King.
-Let us live now as citizens of that Kingdom.
-Let us worship now as subjects of that King.
-Let us go now as ambassadors of His reign.
Because Jesus is not just a King. JESUS is THE KING.
Forever and ever. Hallelujah and Amen.
