YHWH Osainu (O^ sane) God my Maker

If someone said to you, you look amazing, I think you would assume that they’re speaking about your outward appearance. But this morning when I say you look amazing it is referring to your inner physical body. What is going on inside you, your brain, your heart, your bones all those organs and cells that makes you function. That is what we call truly amazing, incredible, wonderful, awesome, and stunning. Truly, your amazing body!

YOUR AMAZING BRAIN

Your brain contains billions of nerve cells arranged in patterns that coordinate thought, emotion, behavior, movement and sensation. A complicated highway system of nerves connects your brain to the rest of your body, so communication can occur in split seconds.

The brain sends and receives chemical and electrical signals throughout the body. Different signals control different processes, and your brain interprets each. - you feel tired -that’s your brain, you feel pain -that’s your brain. You see that bear running towards, your brain sees and interprets the situation and releases the chemical adrenaline into your system with blinding speed -the adrenaline screams run, run now -that’s all your brain. Simply amazing, the Creator created our bodies this way

(illus)

Isaac Newton stated there was sufficient proof of God in a thumb that could rotate.

I would say that there is overwhelming proof or our Maker in our brains being able to solve complex problems and feel joy and take action all at the same time.

YOUR AMAZING BONES

There are 206 bones in the human body. Some people have up to 213 bones because they grow extra digits (Goliath had 4 extra digits -he was at least 210 bones), some have extra ribs or extra vertebrae. Everybody has least 206.

Except babies when they are born. They have between 275-300 bones and bones fuse together such as the skull bones after birth.

HOWEVER, how many bones does a 1 day embryo have? ZERO. None. All it has is the Maker’s imprint of a its DNA. Even at week 4 the 1 cm. long emerging form doesn’t have bones in it’s arms and legs just bumps of flesh called ‘buds’.

So how do bones start, grow and develop in the womb? By accident or by design. By coincidence or mishap or by a pattern maker, a Creator.

Psalm 139

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

YOUR AMAZING HEART

Your heart will beat 85 - 100,000 x today, 35 million x this year and on average 2.5 billion x in your lifetime. Take a few beats away and then there is trouble. No man made pump could outlast The Maker’s human heart pump in it’s consistency nor it’s or longevity.

YOUR AMAZING CELLS

There are between 50-100 trillion cells in the adult human body, some people who are bigger would have about 100 trillion cells or 1 quadrillion. Each day 1 to the 12th power (12 0s after the 1 -one trillion) body cells die and are replaced. Amazing complexity in that ie: millions of liver cells die daily and they are replaced by liver cells and not skin cells or heart cells or brain cells or even kidney cells just liver cells. How does the body know how to do that?

-not only daily are cells replaced but for a life time

               365 days X 65 years = 5 more 0s x 1 trillion

                       =approx. 1 to the 18th = 1 quintillion cells replaced

-out of interest I asked Google for the largest number with a name (numbers are infinite -never ending -but at some point names end,

-Google announced with pride 1 to the 100th power is called a googolplex

Ecclesiastes 11:5

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

-our amazing bodies, yes Lord I cannot understand it, but I am awed, I’m blown away by it’s complexity. Sure, I know something of my body, and medical professionals know so much more than me but I dare say we are only scratching the surface now.

Although we are concentrating our thoughts today that God is MY Maker, God made other things as well.

Job 9:9

He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.

-Job wrote of the constellations around 1900 BC, the time of the patriarchs, he knows YHWH OSAINU, God the Maker of the stars and planets

Isaiah 44:24“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself,

-sidebar -the word maker in Hebrew can be Asah, Yatsar, Paal or Osainu all meaning to make, to form or to fashion, I will use Osainu in general.

YHWH Osainu, God my Maker – it’s interesting that the Orthodox Rabbis will not say the word YHWH for fear that it may slip out (God’s name used in vain). Usually, they would use the word Adonai but there is also, a fear that Adonai might slip out as well and be vainly used. So when Rabbis speak to each other they say ‘Ha Shem’ meaning ‘The Name’.

-also the word Maker as referring to God is used 16X whereas the word Creator is used only 5X.

-God is a Maker, a God who fashions, who forms and who makes

This is where it becomes personal -God made you, God formed you and God is Your Maker

-some of you may wish that you were taller, prettier, stronger, a blonde, had perfect vision with blue eyes, that your mouth was smaller or your hearing perfect etc. STOP, PLEASE STOP saying that stuff.

God made you as you are and the pot should not critique the potter

Nor the creature criticize the Creator, the Maker.

-let us all be content and satisfied with how the Maker made us and not long for that which we are not. And we should accept others as God made them, no criticizing other people for their physical appearance.

-remember how some children laughed at Elisha’s baldness? It angered The Maker tremendously and God sent a bear after them.

-Contentment and thankfulness should be on our tongues. In fact, let us marvel at how The Maker made us. Let us be amazed and be full of wonder at how God made us.

-this principle of contentment applies to beyond physical appearance and includes the financial condition people find themselves in. Don’t look down on the poor. Why? Why not look down on the poor? I’ve earned everything I have, I’ve saved and worked hard to get to where I am!

Proverbs 22:2

Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all.

-YHWH Osainu is the maker of the rich you and the poor

-the very source of wealth is God, no one should brag about it

Proverbs 14:31

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

  • YHWH Osainu -God made you

  • YHWH Osainu -God made you as you are

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him (Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Jesus was /is the Maker,      He Made

Jesus made everything-if there is something made Jesus Maker made it

Hebrews 1:2

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. (including everybody and including you)

JESUS MADE YOU, JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR MAKER

When Jesus came to earth -Jesus recreated broken bodies

-made the lame to walk -to the paralytic in Capernaum -pick up your bed-walk -and Jesus recreated those lifeless limbs, and he got up

-in Bethsaida Jesus spit and made some mud and put it on the blind man’s eyes, Jesus recreated those sightless eyes and he saw

-in Galilee, the leper said ‘Lord, if you’re willing you can heal me’ Jesus said ‘I am willing’ and immediately those leprous sores and growth were healed and recreated into natural skin.

-and just so we understand that Jesus is the Maker, He travels to Bethany and calls into Lazarus’s tomb -come out- and the dead body is resurrected, the Maker recreated life again and Lazarus walks out.

  • YHWH Osainu -God made you

  • YHWH Osainu -God made you as you are

  • YHWH Osainu -God is remaking you now, stillà spiritual rebirth

REBORN, SPIRITUALLY RECREATED and New SPIRITUAL GROWTH

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone be in Christ, they are a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 Corinthians 15:22

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (recreated)

        Why reborn, recreated

Ephesians 2:1

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, -you had to be reborn, recreated

Why reborn,

Ephesians 2:5

(God) made us alive (reborn) with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions

God had to deal with our spiritual deadness

(Christ died to make us alive)

When you came to believe in Jesus Christ, that He died in your place, when you came to faith in this Jesus you were spiritually reborn, recreated, made alive. And God is not done there, God continues to work in you in this remaking of you this new creature, into more and more to be like His Son, Jesus.

-so surrender fully, submit completely to God’s Making you like Jesus

YHWH Osainu God my Maker, God made you, God made you as you are and God is still ReMaking you.

Live like God, the Maker, is.
